AUSTRALIA - Uncle Bruce, July 8

After an egg and toast and tea breakfast we hit the road north again to Forster (pronounced fosta) to spend time with my Uncle Bruce who just turned 84 two days ago.

We hung out at his house for a while catching up on where the family was, what they were doing, who was having babies and lots of pictures.

Uncle Bruce then treated us to lunch at the Paradise Marina Waterfront Cafe. He took us there last time (5 years and three days ago, he noted, sooooo Uncle Bruce!) It was really nice and the sun finally came out. After a nice long lunch of talking and playing with Flat Joy.

Uncle Bruce wanted us to come back home and have some Birthday cake.

We looked at old pictures of family and Uncle Bruce gave Julie and I a fancy pin each that was Auntie Lucelles, sooooo cool and sweet, then surprised Julie with giving her Pop Skinners MBE from the Queen!

Owen (cousin) now Acting Police Superintendent (Area Commander) for Northern New South Wales.

We said our goodbyes and Uncle Bruce held us and prayed for us, so sweet and so Uncle Bruce! Then we drove into Forster (remember Fosta) and window shopped (got a great prize for Ronda!!!)
